Retinal Vein Occlusion

Blocked vein in the retina, leading to vision loss.

Diagnosis at Balaji Horizon

Ophthalmoscopy: Retina examination.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT): Detailed retinal images.

Fluorescein Angiography (FA): Visualizes retinal blood vessels.

TREATMENT

Medications

Anti-VEGF injections to reduce abnormal blood vessel growth in conditions like macular degeneration.

Surgery

Procedures like vitrectomy or scleral buckling for retinal detachment or other severe retinal conditions.

Low Vision Aids

Devices to assist an individuals with a permanent vision impairment caused by retinal disorders.
